Loose-flowered orchid

A rare and beautifully delicate violet-purple orchid found in a wet meadow.  It is a close relative of the Early Purple Orchid.  In the UK it is found only in the Channel Islands, although a re-introduction experiment still survives in the grounds at Kew gardens.
