Fox 02

Fox 06
Fox
Hurray for the fox, long may it hunt rabbits and other "vermin"
in peace. They are an absolute necessity to maintain
a good ecological balance within the countryside.
They are actually the farmers' friend. They are able
to control to their own population and do not need culling.
During Foot & Mouth when all hunting stopped, the population
of foxes actually declined. Unnatural killing of foxes
promotes more breeding via a little understood process
called population rebound or compensatory rebound effect,
presumably involving pheromones.
